Henna 10 by Exillior Henna 10 by Exillior
I just felt a bout of boredom. Plus I wanted to procrastinate from going out grocery shopping.

I wanted to try something a bit different :D

Design: me
Hand: mine
Time taken: <1 hour
Photo: me (with my rubbish point-and-shoot)

And LOL, I love how I made a typo in my "watermark"

Simply gorgeous work. Though, from what I've seen whilst looking through your gallery, this appears to be one of your simpler designs, it's definitely my favourite - all your henna-work is very beautiful, but to me this comes across as a classic example of less being more. The spacing between the different elements really makes the design, in my opinion - it allows one to really focus on the little intricacies.

Gah, this makes me want to mix up some paste myself again, but I know I'd be horribly out of practise xD

I thank you so much! What you describe is what I love too about this. It's easy for me to pile on loads of details on top of each other. But spacing is a far more creative challenge, and I learned loads through this one. All the orange bits on the skin show how much erasing and re-doing I've done. :XD:

I'm always horribly out of practice. After all, this is the last henna I did... and it's in February... and I never do more than one or two a month, at best :XD:

I love to do tatoo but never use henna, I'm too awkward and make too much mistakes XD !

Thank you! ^^ Ah, that is exactly why I do henna - because when you make a mistake, you can just lift off the paste (with the tip of the cone) right away - the simplest way I've ever seen to erase any mistakes :XD: If you notice, all the orange bits on my skin in this... those are all mistakes I made and took off. When the henna dries and the paste come off, these won't leave any traces.

Oh wow! I find eyeliner so messy! You must be gifted to make tattoos with it. I do think you should try henna, it's a lot of fun

Lol, you're only the second one to mention them :eyes: Those are, quite simply, smudges. It's where I've made mistakes, and removed them :XD: I'd usually wipe them off as well if they were this obvious on somebody else's hand, but 1. my hands are too cold for them to stain and 2. I wanted people to see the proof of how many mistakes I do make

Too bad :B You took to long to type :B

No idea, I've just had unnaturally cold hands for about a year now. The thing is, I don't mind it usually... but these days nothing warms them. If I'm not sitting on them, they become like this. When I go out, wearing two pairs of gloves and keeping them in my pockets don't help. It's a bit of a bother. Nothing really serious, though. I have what will probably be my last specialist appointment next week anyway, I'll just mention it again, since it's gotten a bit worse :XD:

No, not seeing it in my inbox in the first place because of the darn bug isn't my fault! :tantrum:

:noes: Mai. Maybe it's reversing to a hypothyroid condition. Lol. J/K Oh wait, would this be Raynaud's phenomenon? Take care.

Nah, it shouldn't be anything serious. I feel in very good health these days. No palpitations, no depression, no constipation, no nothing bad. I am tired a lot but not pathologically so. The hands don't bother me that much. They're very painful when it happens... but that's all. Oh and hey, they've been alright for the past 24 hours - I took one long really warm shower last night and I've not had them again since (:

Thank you! And me too, actually, when I finished it, it looked familiar to me, as if I'd seen that before. It looks a bit like the circular crochet things that people put on their tables - maybe that's what it reminds me of.
